Birthday Make-up!!

My parents greeted me this morning with a birthday/easter basket/present thing.
There was sooo much makeup and nail polishes inside! And ring pops and sugar daddys. love love love them for that.
Those are seriously the only candy I like. ha

Look what I got!!!

First we'll start with the nail polishes!
They're ALL L.A Colors EXCEPT for the last one.
It's by Nicole.
This one has a TON of sparkles and STARS!! :D
Also... this one is from my grandmother...
not my parents.

Now onto the rest!
I'm not exactly sure what brand the top 3 are... but I think the colors are gorgeous!
These 2 palettes are L.A Colors
You have NO idea how happy I am that my parents got me a new white eyeshadow.
My old MAC one is almost empty. *sigh*
They also got me a new black eyeshadow!!
I LOVE LA Colors black eyeshadow because of the faint sparkles...
also because it's EXTREMELY pigmented...
A LOT darker than MAC.
Just saying.

These 2 lipsticks are not as similar as they look in the photo.
the one on the left is more of a pink red... and the one on the right is more of a berry red/burgundy.
Also... the one on the right smells like cupcakes!
How great is that? lol

OH! If you guys are ever wondering whats all over/under my fingernails/fingers... it's eyeshadow and eyeliner.
That stuff is a pain in the butt to get out from under the nails. lol
Also... the green on my thumbnail is what's left of the neon green nail polish. I tried to wipe it off... needless to say, I'm DEFINITELY going to need nail polish remover. :P

Dramatic Black and Purple Smokey Eye

'Eye' have this thing about smokey eyes... I absolutely LOVE them! They're so gorgeous and can be worn just about anywhere, and with anything.

Let me just say one thing before I start this tutorial. My camera tends to enhance browns/beiges/tans... ect. So at the end, when you see the highlight color... please keep in mind that it is NOT that dark and horrible looking. It's actually almost a light tan to a creme color. Just thought I'd point that out.

1. As always, start with a clean eye and apply your eyeshadow primer.
I am using Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

2. Apply a piece of tape at the corner of your eye extending outward for a crisp clean look.
I forgot to do this step at the beginning. Thank God I remembered before it was too late.

3. Apply a matte black eyeshadow to the lid and up to the crease. Also out past your eye to the tape.
I used a matte black shadow by L.A. Colors.
I apologize for the case being so scratched up. It's had a rough life. lol

4. Apply a dark, yet vibrant, purple at your crease & blend up and over to the tape.
I'm using the purple circled in the photo.
Also, I am using bhcosmetics standard matte 88 colors palette.
(see? I told you I remembered!) lol

5. Add a thin line of a puple/pink right at the top of the purple and blend.
I used a mixture of these two colors.

6. Apply highlight at the brow.
7. Smudge the black down along the lower lash line.
8. Add purple and blend.
(I messed up a big! gahh!)

9. Apply eyeliner on upper and lower water lines & add a smidget of white at the inner corners.
(liquid eyeliner on the lid is optional)
For the white I used 'Gesso' by MAC.

FINAL LOOK!

What I Used:
- Too Faced Shadow Insurance
- bhcosmetics 88 colors, standard matte eyeshadow palette
- MAC gesso eyeshadow
- E.L.F mascara
L'oreal Paris 'Carbon Black' Pencil Perfect Self-Advancing eyeliner

Before you wear this anywhere... please make sure you clean away the fall out. That would just look so horrible under your eyes.
I really Hope you liked this tutorial. I'm still pretty new at all this, so I apologize (once again) if some of the things aren't as explanatory as they should be.

GIVE ME LOOK SUGGESTIONS PEOPLE!

It Finally Came!!!

So I've been waiting for what seems like years for my 88 Colors Palette by bhcosmetics to get here... and guess what!?! It's finally here!
We pulled in after picking my gmaw up from the hospital, and they had it sitting in front of her door. That really made me mad. I've got cats and a dog outside which could have peed on it. I specifically left a note on BOTH doors that stated, 'please place in between doors' on MY back door... It was on BRIGHT yellow paper too, so I know they didn't miss it. The box did however have a bite mark in it... I don't really know if it was from one of my cats, or my dog. Either way... it still shouldn't have been sitting out in the open. What if it would have rained? Everything would have been ruined. :/

Here's the eyeshadow!

Standark Matte Eyeshadow

I'm very happy with the color payoff of some of these shadows.
Definitely not as pigmented as I was led to believe.
Still... I'm still happy.

I soooo cannot wait to use these for my future tutorials! :D

5 Minute Make-Up

This is my basic, everyday, I'm to lazy to do anything special look.
It's quite simple, and any color can be used. It doesn't have to be white, as shown in this tutorial.
Matte eyeshadow is preferred.
I just like using white because it really goes with everything.

1. Start with clean eyes.

2. Apply Primer.
I just used a white eyeshadow pencil.
My new eyeshadow primer STILL hasn't arrived yet.

3. Apply your eyeshadow VERY THICK.
Apply only to the lid and inner corner.
Do NOT apply above the lid.

4. Apply mascara to upper and lower lashes.
Final Look!

That's all there is to it.
Eyeliner could be applied if wished.
I tend not to use it.

What I used:
- MAC Gesso Eyeshadow
- E.L.F Mascara
- Studio M Professional White Eyeshadow Pencil

shoes shoes shoes! & Big Lots.

Well technically since my blog is called 'Clothes, Hair & Make-up.. OH MY!' I have the right to post something about shoes... since shoes are sort of clothes. lol Well actually, I have the right to post what ever kind of nonsense I want since it is my blog and all. haha

Anywayssss....
I have gotten the 2 most CUTEST pairs of shoes ever. 1 of which is a pair of flats, and the other is a pair of heels.

The Flats:
I sort of wore them already. lol
I just couldn't resist wearing them the night I got them.
They were just too cute! :D

The Heels:
Originally, you could buy these from Kohls, but since they quit selling these a year ago... I had to pull some BIG money to get a pair shipped to me.
(the person who originally ordered them never paid for them)

BIG LOTS!
I FINALLY got to go to Big Lots... Sadly, they didn't have any Posh brushes. I was so looking forward to getting some too. :(
They DID however have some E.L.F products. I decided I deserved to spend the rest of my money on something I would actually use... so I got me a couple things.

If only, If only you knew how long I've been searching for a smudge brush like these. AGES I TELL YOU! AGES! lmao. Okay, I'm done with my psychotic episode.
Now onto the pictures!

Next is a cheap, but still decent, eyelash curler. (it came in a set with the black brush, mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow)

Eyeshadow Pigments

Eyeshadow Trio

Mascara

Liquid Liner

So far I've used everything I bought... and I actually LOVE it all.
I'm not big on 'browns'... but I actually liked these.
They're shimmery, so they tend to not stand out as badly...
which I like.

Also... My bhcosmetics palette hasn't arrived yet, which is really making me mad.
I bought the 2 day shipping... and I bought the palette back on the 14th...
I know it's only been a day over... but when I pay for something.. I want it.
